Samsung launched the original Galaxy Buds in March 2019 were decent true wireless earbuds offering impressive battery life, supports wireless charging, lightweight and comfortable fit. However drawbacks were reported of its sound quality were merely okay and comes to built-in mics were not noise cancellation when it came to voice calls. 

This year 2020, finally new generation of Galaxy Buds is launched with improvise features and improvements, Galaxy Buds Plus. They both look mostly identical but contain few key improvements. A class-leading battery life extended to 11hours; sound quality is greatly ramped up; finally they are good option for making calls, why? thanks to a new dual-driver design into the buds.

Look at appearance, there is nothing much of changes compare to the previous version, the charging case looks glossier than before with raised indicators for the buds cradles. Samsung launched Galaxy Buds Plus in 3 colours: Black, White, and Blue. A second outer microphone has been added to the earbuds and really the only subtle tells that worth the buy of newer Galaxy Buds

Galaxy Buds Plus packs in three different sizes of ear tips and also gives a choice of silicone ear hooks to ensure its latch securely, hence comfort has never been a problem excellent fit. Another selling point of Galaxy Buds Plus is that they are very lightweight to the point of being unnoticeable, the subtle design doesn't draw attention to your ears, you can't imagine how annoying somebody putting its concentration at your ear while talking in front of you

We notice the approach of Samsung's design in controlling earbuds hasn't changed, basically you will still be tapping the touch-sensitive outer portion of the Galaxy Buds Plus to play and pause music, answer/drop calls, skipping music tracks. Maybe most of you are aware the long-press action to customise between voice assistants (Google Assistant, Siri and/or Bixby), ambient sound mode, or volume controls. 

Samsung has also embedded the Buds Plus into the Galaxy Wearable app (or Galaxy Buds Plus app if you’re on iOS) to enable an alternate way of controlling volume that lets you double tap the outside of the earbuds, not the touchpad but the top of the buds themselves to increase or lower the volume.

So, with all these improvements to an impressive degree, the "Plus" name is well deserved. Samsung re-engineered insides make to produce better sound quality, longest-lasting battery life around, and the voice call woes are history
